The successful candidates should contribute to architectural decisions and mentor other developers while continuously expanding their expertise and driving the technical direction of projects. These positions will also serve as technical leader positions for the development team. Applicants should stay in the Centurion, Midrand and Pretoria area in Gauteng. Detail: Key Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems Make critical technical decisions and provide technical leadership Review and approve architectural designs and implementation approaches Conduct comprehensive code reviews and ensure code quality standards Mentor other developers, fostering their growth Identify and mitigate technical risks in projects Drive technical excellence and advocate for best practices Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks Optimize application performance, scalability, and security Lead technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development Provide technical estimates for initiatives Handle critical production issues and incident response Required Skills & Experience Professional software development experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks including but not limited to Laravel, PHP, Vue, js, node.js, next.js, Django, React, Flask, Angular, Python, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
