Software Developer - C# / .NET / SQL

An established manufacturing company is looking for a  Software Developer  to join its in-house IT and development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys building practical business solutions and wants to work closely with end users and operational teams in a  dynamic manufacturing environment .

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain business applications and software solutions.

• Develop and maintain applications using  C# and .NET .

• Write, optimise and maintain  SQL queries, stored procedures and database solutions .

• Integrate systems and applications to support business and manufacturing processes.

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software issues.

• Maintain and enhance existing applications and systems.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

• Ensure code quality, performance, security and maintainability.

• Provide technical documentation and support where required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field is essential.

• Proven experience as a  Software Developer .

• Strong programming experience in  C# .

• Strong experience with  .NET / .NET Core .

• Solid  SQL and relational database  experience.

• Good understanding of software development principles and the SDLC.

• Experience with version control such as  Git  would be advantageous.

• Experience working with APIs, integrations and web-based applications would be beneficial.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Package & Remuneration

R360 000 CTC to R600 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
