Hybrid working, offices based in Randburg
To provide operational fulfilment and user support for software applications that have not yet been onboarded to the ServiceNow catalogue. The role ensures that approved software requests are fulfilled in a controlled, auditable, and timely manner while supporting the phased migration from Flexera AppPortal to ServiceNow.
Duties & Responsibilities
ServiceNow Request Management
- Monitor and manage software requests submitted through the transitional ServiceNow catalogue item.
- Review requests for completeness and approval compliance.
- Validate software entitlement requirements.
- Prioritize requests according to business impact and urgency.
- Update ServiceNow records throughout the fulfilment lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate audit trails for all fulfilment activities.
Software Provisioning & Fulfilment
For applications not yet migrated into ServiceNow
- Add user accounts to the appropriate Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID security groups.
- Add users to software licensing groups where entitlement is required.
- Add devices to the required Intune or deployment collections.
- Trigger application deployment processes where applicable.
- Validate successful deployment and installation.
- Record fulfilment actions against the corresponding ServiceNow request.
License & Entitlement Administration
- Verify license availability prior to fulfilment.
- Allocate software entitlements in accordance with SAM governance processes.
- Escalate license shortages to the Software Asset Management team.
- Maintain license usage records were required.
User Support
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support relating to
- Software request fulfilment
- Deployment issues
- Access and entitlement issues
- Installation failures
- Application availability queries
Act as the primary contact point for users awaiting software fulfilment.
Migration Support
Support ongoing migration activities by
- Identifying frequently requested applications for future migration waves.
- Providing fulfilment trend reporting.
- Assisting testing and validation of newly onboarded catalogue items.
- Supporting Wave 2 and Wave 3 catalogue migration activities.
- Assisting with onboarding of newly approved software applications.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric qualification
3 years experience in a similar role in an enterprise level environment
