This is an excellent opportunity for an Industrial Engineering graduate with a passion for software, systems optimisation, and automation who is looking to build a career within a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and improve production line documentation.
- Optimise input and output data production workflows.
- Monitor production systems to ensure stability, reliability and uptime.
- Support and enhance the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyse system performance and recommend enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production, software and data-related issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (4-year qualification) from an accredited institution.
- 2-3 years' relevant industry experience.
- Interest in software and systems development.
- Experience using documentation tools such as GitHub and Adobe Acrobat.
- Exposure to at least one scripting or application development language such as Python, C#, JavaScript, Lua or similar.
- Experience working with C++ and other compiled programming languages.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead or coordinate a small team.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies.
- Passion for continuous improvement and automation.
- Methodical approach to debugging and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
