- Support the Group Director of Marketing in the day to day running and management of the Newmark Hotel & Reserves Social Media portfolio. Create and organize content across a range of social media profiles for different hotels, lodges, and reserves.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 – 3 years' experience in Social Media role or similar
- Previous experience with hotels, lodges, and resorts advantageous
- Marketing or Media diploma/ equivalent preferable
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Planning and Organisational skills
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Word & Excel, Social Media Scheduling platforms and design programs advantageous
- Strong copywriting skills – ability to write for the digital audience
- Must be a team player
Duties and Responsibilities
- Posting/Scheduling content across social media accounts
- Write copy for social media posts across all channels i.e. Instagram and Facebook
- Communicate with followers, respond to dm's, comments and monitor customer reviews according to SOP.
- Being on top of the latest social media trends
- Weekly content creation i.e. reels and stories
- Update social media elements across all channels on a monthly basis
- Assist the Group Director of Marketing with creating campaign specific content for social media channels
- Work with graphic designer to create elements for social media channels i.e. stories, carousels etc.
- Assist the Group Director of Marketing with influencer and content creator partnerships and brand collaborations across all channels
- Monthly Reporting, insights and recommendations for hotels, lodges & reserves.
