Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Civil Engineering NQF 6
- 1 – 3 years' experience in relevant environment.
- Driver's License
Core Responsibilities
- Participate in the specialist practice community and contributes, where possible, to organisational knowledge management.
- Assist with the implementation of engineering activities for the department.
- Adhere to all safety standards as per practice and process requirements.
- Assist with implementation of engineering activities for the department and maintenance of technical system and technology.
- Escalate unresolved delivery and quality issues to operational management and process owners.
- Keep up to date with legislation associated with engineering activities.
- Manage costs for new and upgraded connections and network reticulation to ensure the enhancement of service levels agreement within area of accountability.
- Adhere to Batho Pele principles.
- Ensure the culture of excellence service delivery is attained and maintained.
