An exciting opportunity for a Small Business Unit Manager to work at a reputable and established company in Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for measuring, reporting, maintaining and improving the performance of the business unit.
- Responsible for formally responding to customer complaints/ information.
- Providing operational information to the area manager and schedules department.
- Counsel and discipline staff regarding their performance.
- Inform public regarding service details and Clipcards.
- Depot administration.
- Manage and control systems (Drive-cam, professional driving permit and accident reports).
- Plan and organise new services.
- Attend passenger forum meetings.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
- Diploma or studying towards relevant Diploma in Transport Economics, Operations or Business.
•Relevant Degree (advantageous).
•A valid driver’s licence.
•Must be prepared to work irregular hours when required.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
•Attention to detail, quality and problem solving.
•Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
•Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structure manner focused on delivery.
•Strong analytical skills and good communication.
