Operate skip truck safely and efficiently to transport waste, rubble, materials, and other loads to designated locations.
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Collect and deliver skip bins to and from customer sites, construction sites, and disposal facilities.
Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
Load and offload skip bins using the truck’s hydraulic lifting and tipping equipment.
Position skip bins safely and accurately at designated locations.
Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, inspection checklists, and other required documentation.
Perform basic vehicle checks and report mechanical faults or defects promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the truck and equipment.
Comply with company health and safety policies and waste-management procedures.
Follow designated routes and ensure timely collections and deliveries.
Communicate professionally with customers, site personnel, and supervisors.
Adhere to traffic laws, weight restrictions, and company driving procedures.
