Site Security Coordinator

Our client is a leading international organisation operating within the energy sector and critical infrastructure environment. This is a high-responsibility security position supporting the effective implementation of security policies, procedures and protection measures. The successful candidate will work closely with internal security leadership and relevant external stakeholders to maintain effective security standards, manage operational risks and support business continuity. Duties & Responsibilities

Site Security Coordinator The Site Security Coordinator will be responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of security operations within a critical infrastructure environment. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and supervise daily security operations. * Manage contracted guarding services and monitor service delivery. * Supervise control room, CCTV, access control and perimeter security activities. * Coordinate incident response and emergency security procedures. * Conduct preliminary security investigations and provide recommendations. * Support security risk assessments and risk mitigation activities. * Implement applicable security requirements, procedures and directives. * Monitor security developments and report significant concerns. * Prepare operational security reports and performance indicators. * Monitor contractor performance and compliance. * Support crisis management and business continuity activities. * Liaise with relevant authorities and law enforcement when required. * Assist with security audits, compliance reviews and corrective actions. Essential Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Law, Military Studies or a related field. * 5-8 years' experience in industrial, mining, energy or security infrastructure operations. * Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, mining, utilities or government environments. * Knowledge of National Key Point requirements or equivalent environments. * Experience managing relationships with public authorities and law enforcement agencies. * Fluent English language skills. Preferred Requirements * CPP, PSP, PCI, CSMP, PSIRA or equivalent certification. * Experience in high-risk environments. * Knowledge of integrated physical and technological security systems. * Experience in crisis and emergency management

Desired Experience & Qualification

The ideal candidate will be an experienced security professional with a background in industrial, mining, energy, critical infrastructure, utilities or government environments. Candidates should demonstrate: * A relevant Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Law, Military Studies or a related field. * 5-8 years' relevant security experience. * Experience managing operational security activities and contracted security providers. * Exposure to critical infrastructure or other high-security environments. * Knowledge of National Key Point requirements or equivalent environments. * Experience with government authorities and law enforcement agencies. * Experience with physical security systems, including CCTV and access control. * Experience in incident management and emergency response. * Strong leadership, decision-making and stakeholder management skills. * Fluent English language skills. Additional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CSMP or PSIRA, together with experience in high-risk environments, crisis management or business continuity, will be advantageous.
