Site Manager [Development & Asset Manager] QSR Retail

Introduction

Our client a leader in the Quick Service Resturant industy based in Arcadia, Pretoria requires a Civil Engineering - Site Agent/Development and Asset Manager.

This role will overlook both development and the maintenance team and will be responsible for all new builds, remodels, relocates of retail stores.  This role also requires the individual to explore and identify possible viable new sites to further grow the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

New Stores, Remodels and Relocates

• As and when scoping is scheduled, input will be given on recurring maintenance issues to be brought to the attention of the maintenance team and development manager whilst scoping,

• Explore and identify new sites for the company.

• Electricity requirements and SDP’s to be verified with landlord/developer on potential and new identified sites,

• Review BOQ’s,

• Remodel planning with area manager  – include Team dealing with remodels.

• Commencement of Construction Phase:

• Liaise with Operations re the closing and opening dates of facility,

• Communicate various responsibilities and expectations to stakeholders,

• Confirmation with the AC/RGM that the reconciliation of furniture items sold is accurate and correct. Complete all relevant sign-off checklists.

Maintenance

• Implement and manage an integrated Facilities Management System to meet company framework.

• Facilities Maintenance to be covered in the following categories:

• Routine Maintenance

• Preventative Maintenance

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Relevant Construction/Building Qualification.

• 3 years Building Site Agent / Managemet experience within the Construction industry. Retail/QSR industry experience an advantage.

• Experience reading plans, bill of quantities, management of staff and sites.
