- Ecowize is seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to lead cleaning operations at one of our sites in Parow. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is ready to embrace a new challenge, showcase their capabilities, and make a meaningful impact in a growing business.
Job Specification
- Manage and coordinate all operational functions on site.
- Deliver a daily Food Safe Facility to customer standards.
- Use information obtained at the site to complete inspections, micros, audits, and customer feedback.
- Manage site budgets and manage man-hours as per shift schedule.
- Responsible for staff management and resolving HR related matters.
- Coaching and mentoring of staff as well as developing skills.
- Drive Occupational Health and Safety and make recommendations to improve the process.
- Ensure internal audits meet daily requirements.
- Close out any raised non–conformance of micros out of specification and follow up on NCR's.
- Liaise daily with customers.
- Assist with recruitment for the region as the need arises.
- Assist with coordinating training interventions at site level.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Experience in the FMCG and/or cleaning industry is essential.
- Staff Management and Labour Relations experience is essential.
- Experience working with a Hygiene Quality Management System is advantageous.
- Good command of the English Language.
- Must be able and willing to work night shift when required.
- High-quality administrative skills required.
- Be flexible to work at various sites as requested on short notice.

- Experience in the food production industry.
- Must be able to manage the strict flow of operations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills English Command.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
