- RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable building and civil contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team on one of their latest projects in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day site operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and material resources.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress against the project programme and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Attend and chair site meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Prepare site reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering or a Degree Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Site Agent with a reputable construction contractor.
- Proven experience managing building and/or civil construction projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in MS Project
- Valid driver's licence essential.
- Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and subcontractor management abilities.
