About the position

Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive for an upmarket showroom in the plumbing and sanitaryware industry.

The successful candidate will assist customers in selecting suitable products, prepare quotations, process orders and build strong client relationships. This position requires an experienced and target-driven sales professional who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and identify their individual requirements.
• Provide professional product information and advice.
• Recommend suitable products and prepare accurate quotations.
• Process customer orders and follow up on enquiries and sales leads.
• Develop and maintain strong customer and client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Work towards achieving individual and showroom sales targets.
• Maintain attractive and professional showroom displays.
• Assist with stock control and ensure product displays remain well organised.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12/Matric.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A minimum of five years previous sales experience is essential.
• Previous showroom sales experience in taps, tiles, accessories, plumbing products or sanitaryware will be advantageous.
• Strong customer-service and sales-execution abilities.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and increase sales potential.
• Computer literate.
• Professional and well-presented.
• Target-driven and results-focused.
• Stable employment history is essential.
• Must be willing to work on Saturdays until 14:00.
