They are seeking a motivated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee multiple branches, ensuring efficient store operations, exceptional customer service, and effective team management.

Job Purpose

  • To manage the day-to-day operations of multiple retail branches by overseeing staff, inventory, pricing, and store performance while ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education

  • National Senior Certificate

Minimum applicable experience years

  • 2-5 years' experience

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Store Operations

  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple retail branches
  • Ensure stores are clean, organised, and visually appealing
  • Maintain high operational and merchandising standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Stock & Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks
  • Manage stock ordering to ensure product availability
  • Minimise stock losses and improve inventory accuracy
  • Perform price analysis and update pricing where required

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, motivate, and develop store employees
  • Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused team culture
  • Manage staff scheduling and attendance

Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across all branches
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally
  • Maintain a welcoming shopping environment
  • Promote customer satisfaction and loyalty

Administration & Reporting

  • Complete all administrative and reporting functions accurately
  • Monitor branch performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with operational and financial procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across all branches
