Shift Supervisor X4

PURPOSE An exciting opportunity exists in Fraser Alexander Zambia to oversee the execution of contractual activities related to deposition and remining projects, while upholding the company standard. The role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of mining and deposition plans by effectively managing risks, controlling costs and addressing deviations, in line with quality, productivity, efficiency and financial requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Site Operations Allocate and schedule plant, materials and labour. Execute deposition and mining plans in accordance with operating procedures and the Tailings Storage Facility Code of Practice. Drive achievement of daily shift production targets while ensuring efficient resource utilisation. Supervise subcontractors and plant hire activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and report on progress and performance. Safety Management Ensure proper housekeeping and use of appropriate PPE at all times. Drive a strong safety culture by preventing incidents, reporting unsafe conditions and implementing corrective measures. Ensure risk assessments are conducted prior to all activities. Staff Supervision Lead, coach, and develop staff to build capability, experience and high performance within the team. Drive performance by communicating clear standards, monitoring results against targets, and implementing corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency. Cost Control Management Supervise and report on the availability and utilisation of personnel and equipment. Control the issuing of materials and equipment, ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained. Manage and control overtime in line with approved rosters and operational requirements.
