- Monitor and control the process as per set parameters
- Identify, assess and be pro-active in problem solving
- Report efficiency deviations to General Metallurgical Foreman and Metallurgist
- Prepare job-cards for engineering and process team
- Logging and keeping record of shift short interval control data
Initiating and follow-up on planned jobs, breakdowns and call-outs with clear written and verbal communication
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- Computer literacy
- 5 years in a gold production plant with atleast 2 years as a Supervisor/Foreman
- General knowledge of mineral processing technology, including the mechanical function of process equipment and the technical basis of mineral treatment processes,
- Knowledge and operation of process plant SCADA
- Medical certificate of fitness or be able to obtain one
