Senior Web Developer

• Boardroom Appointments is recruiting on behalf of an innovative technology organisation seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join a high-performing software engineering team.
• This is a hands-on development role for a passionate senior developer who thrives on building modern, secure, and scalable web applications. You'll play a key role in shaping frontend architecture, solving complex technical challenges, mentoring fellow developers, and delivering exceptional user experiences using the latest technologies.
• Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, Backend Developers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality digital products that are secure, maintainable, and built for scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and the TanStack ecosystem.
• Build reusable, responsive, and accessible user interface components.
• Design scalable frontend architecture while promoting clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimise application performance, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior and intermediate developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to solution design, technical planning, estimations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 6 years' experience in frontend web development.
• Expert knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript ES6+.
• Strong experience working with the TanStack ecosystem, including:
• TanStack Router
• TanStack Query
• TanStack Table
• TanStack Virtual advantageous
• Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and reusable design systems.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience implementing authentication using JWT and OAuth.
• Experience with state management solutions such as TanStack Query, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or SCSS.
• Experience improving application performance and implementing accessibility best practices.

Technical Skills Candidates should demonstrate experience with:
