Start free — we apply for you →About the Role: Join us as a Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager in Pietermaritzburg, taking full control of the finished goods warehouse and outbound logistics at our manufacturing site. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will drive stock integrity, delivery performance, safety compliance, and cost control. Responsibilities:
- Receipt and Storage: Directing product flow from production to dispatch.
- Inventory Management: Ensuring accuracy, security, and valuation integrity of finished goods inventory.
- Distribution Planning: Managing outbound distribution and third-party transporters for on-time delivery.
- Team Leadership: Managing a warehouse and logistics team of 20+ employees.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring safety compliance, managing budgets, and reporting on performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintaining ERP integrity and driving process improvements.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in warehouse or logistics management, leadership of 20+ employees, and ERP proficiency.
- Industry Exposure: Background in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably with rubber or polymer exposure.
- Skills: Strong in finished goods warehouse control, outbound logistics, stock control, and ERP data integrity.
- Certifications: Knowledge of Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Drivers Licence: Code B (08) drivers license required.
