- You will take on the role of professional nominee, to provide specialist trust services and in support of other business development activities within Nedgroup Trust.
Job Responsibilities
• Act as professional trustee and manage relationships with all stakeholders on a book of trust clients, consisting of testamentary, inter vivos and special trusts. • General risk management and governance of the Trust; • Compliance with all relevant legislation; • Protection of Trust assets and the interests of beneficiaries; • Providing expertise as a professional trustee; • Building professional relationships with various stakeholders; • Co-ordination of administration, bookkeeping, compliance and legal functions; • Conducting trustee meetings; • Drafting of resolutions; • Liaison between all stakeholders, ie. settlors, beneficiaries, co-trustees, investment managers, accounting and tax consultants and all other third parties.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
- Advanced Diploma in Estate and Trust Administration
- Law Degree advantageous
Minimum Experience Level
- 3-5 years as a Senior Trust Practitioner within a legal / banking environment
