- To maintain track welding services to ensure high quality structural and geometric Perway conditions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 10 with Maths
- 3 years' experience as a trainee track welder
- Code 10 Driver's license and PDP Public Driver's Permit
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS KPAs
- Perform welding activities
- Staff supervision and Safety
TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE
- Track Welding Track welder Phase 1&2 / Track Maintenance processes and procedures
- Relevant legislation including OHSE Act, RSR Act, etc.
- Financial management principles and practice, contract administration, quality management policies and frameworks
- MS office
- Non-destructive testing procedures
- Radiographic testing of Exothermic welds, Ultra-sonic testing of rails, Dye penetrant, Magnetic particle testing
