Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting and investigating services.
- Provide and integrate engineering solution or designs for asset creation
- Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications
- Provide input into discipline specific technology vison strategy and direction setting
- Conduct discipline specific technology research
- Participate in national and international technical forums
- Provide professional technical leadership
Qualifications
- B Tech/National Higher Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits
Related Minimum Experience
- 4 years' related experience in technical experience and engineering related technologies
- Experience in engineering planning and design, design integration and engineering management in relevant technologies for power stations/substations, electrical network.
Professional Registration
- Engineering Council of South Africa ECSA as Professional Technologist
