Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting and investigating services.
- Provide and integrate engineering solutions or designs for asset creation.
- Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications.
- Manage and conduct product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations.
- Provide input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting.
- Conduct discipline specific technology research.
- Participate in national and international technical forums.
- Provide professional technical leadership.
Qualifications
- B Tech/National Higher Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Electronic Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits
Related Minimum Experience
- 4 years related experience in engineering planning and design, design integration and engineering management in relevant technologies for power stations and electrical networks
Professional Registration
- Engineering Council of South Africa ECSA Professional Technologist
