This role is suited to a qualified technician with extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining premium passenger vehicles. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, strong diagnostic capabilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding workmanship and customer satisfaction. Detail: Description: Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems. Identify complex faults using specialised diagnostic equipment and technical information. Carry out major repairs, servicing, and maintenance to manufacturer standards. Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, cooling, and fuel systems. Perform advanced electrical fault finding and repairs. Complete software updates, programming, and vehicle coding where applicable. Conduct quality inspections and road tests before and after repairs. Ensure all repair orders are completed accurately and efficiently. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians and apprentices. Support workshop productivity by assisting with difficult technical cases. Liaise with service advisors regarding technical findings and repair recommendations. Ensure compliance with manufacturer repair procedures and dealership quality standards. Requirements: Qualified Motor Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test essential) Master Technician certification or equivalent advanced manufacturer technical qualification advantageous Minimum of 8 years' experience as a qualified Automotive Technician within a franchised dealership environment Extensive experience working on premium passenger vehicles Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding experience Proficient in using modern automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop systems Valid driver's licence Excellent understanding of automotive electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Ability to work independently and mentor junior technicians Please note only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
