We are recruiting a Senior Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations, performance and reliability of all physical security systems across a large financial environment. This is an operational leadership role focused on running, maintaining and supporting electronic security infrastructure, while guiding a high-performing technical team. Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Honours Degree in Information Technology ;/ Security Systems Management / Electronic Security System or equivalent (NQF 8).
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in management of electronic security systems.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Sound knowledge of the security incident management, security management, relevant legislation and regulations, electronic security systems, computer-based systems and SANS Standards; and
  • Experience in information technology systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of access control, CCTV, alarms, intrusion and physical electronic security systems.
  • Ensure all systems are functional, reliable and available across multiple sites.
  • Manage faults, anomalies, system failures and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain governance frameworks ensuring compliance and operational standards.
  • Oversee operational reporting, dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a diverse technical support team of 6.
  • Drive risk identification and mitigation strategies for all security systems.
  • Co-ordinate with ICT teams where system performance relies on networks, servers or digital platforms.
