Senior Systems Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Lead transport system implementations, customer onboarding, and carrier onboarding projects • Support, maintain, and optimise Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Supply Chain Execution (SCE) platforms • Act as the primary point of contact for system incidents, escalations, and enhancement requests • Design, coordinate, test, and support EDI and API integrations between multiple business partners • Configure transport rates, tariffs, pricing rules, and freight settlement processes • Facilitate system testing activities including SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support • Analyse integration failures, troubleshoot data issues, and implement corrective actions • Identify opportunities for automation, system optimisation, and operational efficiency improvements Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years' experience supporting enterprise logistics or supply chain systems
• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Supply Chain Execution (SCE) platforms
• Experience leading customer and carrier onboarding projects
• Experience managing integrations between multiple business partners and technology platforms
• Experience working with vendors, software providers, and business stakeholders

• Technical Skills:
• SQL or equivalent query tools for troubleshooting and analysis
• EDI integrations (EDIFACT, XML, ANSI X12) and API-based integrations
• Transport rating engines, tariffs, freight settlement, and billing processes
• Advanced Excel for analysis and reporting
• Process mapping and solution documentation using Visio

• Advantageous:
• Experience within 3PL or 4PL logistics environments
• TMS implementation experience
• Exposure to global governance frameworks
• Automation and process standardisation experience
• Experience working with offshore or global IT teams

• Additional Requirements:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong project coordination and implementation experience
