About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs on a range of Audi models, using advanced diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on findings and suggested remedies.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs to clients effectively and provide updates on the status of work.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest Audi technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold the Audi brand standards by ensuring compliance with all company guidelines and expectations.

Requirements

  • Trade qualification in motor mechanics or equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrable experience working as a Master Technician, preferably with Audi or in a reputable automotive brand.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
  • Proven track record in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues with a commitment to quality and precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and apply effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members and customers alike.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as an Audi Master Technician or equivalent recognition.
  • Experience with hybrid/electric vehicle technologies and systems.
  • Additional training in customer service or sales techniques within the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with workshop management software systems and related technology.
