Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs on a range of Audi models, using advanced diagnostic equipment and software.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on findings and suggested remedies.
- Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs to clients effectively and provide updates on the status of work.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest Audi technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Uphold the Audi brand standards by ensuring compliance with all company guidelines and expectations.
Requirements
- Trade qualification in motor mechanics or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrable experience working as a Master Technician, preferably with Audi or in a reputable automotive brand.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
- Proven track record in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues with a commitment to quality and precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and apply effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members and customers alike.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as an Audi Master Technician or equivalent recognition.
- Experience with hybrid/electric vehicle technologies and systems.
- Additional training in customer service or sales techniques within the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with workshop management software systems and related technology.
