This isn't enterprise architecture—it's a hands-on, client-facing role driving core policy lifecycle systems across personal and commercial lines Detail: The Tech Stack Deep-Dive Platform Capabilities & Systems Core Systems: Policy Administration Platforms, Claims Systems, No-Code Workflow Tools Architecture Familiarity: SQL, Angular, and .NET-based platform environments Core Domains: Product Configuration, Rules Engines, Rating Engines, Integrations, Data Migration, BI/Reporting Tooling Must-Have: Jira & Confluence Requirements Matrix Must-Haves: 5+ years of insurance software implementation experience, deep personal and commercial lines knowledge, and proven experience writing implementation-ready Jira Epics/Stories directly from discovery workshops. Nice-to-Haves: Exposure to life, medical, or specialty products, plus multi-market experience (UK, South Africa, or global). Key Responsibilities Lead Discovery: Run client requirements workshops with underwriting, claims, and product teams to translate real-world insurance needs into platform configuration designs. Own Delivery Specs: Write clear, implementation-ready Epics and Stories in Jira to direct delivery teams without re-litigating requirements. Guide Implementations: Direct and mentor implementation teams to ensure configurations align with platform capabilities, rules, and integration standards.
