Start free — we apply for you →Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to contribute to backend and full-stack development within a modern engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have strong development expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities and experience incorporating AI coding agents into their development workflow. Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain robust software solutions. • Contribute to backend and full-stack development initiatives. • Work with modern technologies including Java, NodeJS, TypeScript and/or Python. • Effectively direct AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor as part of the development lifecycle. • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs. • Troubleshoot complex software and technical issues. • Apply sound software engineering and version-control practices. • Work with relational databases to support application functionality. • Collaborate with development teams to deliver quality solutions. • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical solutions. Requirements:
- 8+ years' solid professional software development experience.
- Strong backend and/or full-stack development experience.
- Proven expertise in at least one of:
- Java
- NodeJS
- TypeScript
- Python
- Experience using and directing AI coding agents within a software development workflow.
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Diligent, proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Advantageous Skills
- AWS experience.
- Strong RESTful API development knowledge.
- Git and version control experience.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL or other relational databases.
- Java certification.
- AWS certification.
