Senior Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain internal web applications used by operational, sales, installation, and finance teams. This is a full-stack role focused on building reliable, user-friendly web portals, integrating with APIs and databases, and ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS .

• Build dashboards, reports, maps, KPI boards, and operational tools used across the business.

• Integrate applications with APIs and PostgreSQL databases.

• Ensure applications are secure, responsive, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.

• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.

• Deploy and support applications through structured DEV, TEST, and Production environments.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to development best practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12).

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years' professional software development experience .

• Strong experience with:

• React

• TypeScript & JavaScript

• HTML & CSS

• Node.js

• SQL & PostgreSQL

• Git/GitHub

• REST APIs

• Automated testing and modern development practices

• Experience building and supporting production web applications.

Advantageous Experience

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Firebase Hosting and Authentication

• Cloud Run

• Next.js, Vue, Angular, C#, Java, Go, or Rust

• Telecommunications, ISP, Fibre, Utility, or Operational Systems environments

• Experience mentoring junior developers
