Job Description
About the Role CodeConnect Staffing is recruiting on behalf of an established security and insurance-based service provider seeking an experienced Senior Security Technician with strong electrical capabilities.
This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring a well-rounded technician who can install, maintain, diagnose and repair a variety of security systems while working professionally with clients on site.
The ideal candidate will combine security systems expertise, practical electrical capability and preferably insurance claims experience. There is also an opportunity to grow into a leadership position and assist with building and mentoring a technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, fault-find and repair security and related systems.
- Work across gate motors, CCTV, alarm systems, garage motors and electric fencing.
- Diagnose technical and electrical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and damage assessments.
- Assess technical issues relating to insurance claims and compile accurate damage reports.
- Identify circumstances where reported damage may not support a valid insurance claim.
- Complete relevant electrical work within the candidate's level of competency.
- Travel to client sites and manage assigned technical work independently.
- Communicate professionally with clients and explain technical findings and solutions.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
- Support and mentor junior technicians as the team grows.
