Senior Sales Engineer

Role Context Responsibilities Customer Service: All client requests are responded to within 24 hours Customer visits as per schedule Plant / process audits and site visits as and when requested Customer satisfaction is maintained Stock takes on customers’ sites as and when required Administration: Customer information is captured after each visit Weekly call plans and site visit reports are submitted to Manager All expenditures are reconciled by due date Ensure quotations are completed as and when required Marketing material collected before visits Quotation and probability feedback after each visit Marketing: Attendance and participation at exhibitions as discussed with Manager Market research is conducted in designated areas Presentations are delivered to customer as required Opportunities are supported with point-of-sale material Quarterly presentation to management of market research and marketing activities in own area Requirements Qualifications Grade 12 Degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar (Preferable) Job Specification At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in mineral processing plants (Chrome, Coal, Heavy Mineral, Iron Ore) Computer literate Valid Driver’s license Inherent Requirement Must be medically fit Closing Date: 14 February
