Senior Sales Consultant

Introduction

The firm is seeking an experienced, commercially driven and results-oriented Senior Sales Consultant to drive business development, expand market share and grow revenue within targeted industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement a proactive sales approach to identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities within targeted industry sectors.

Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions based on operational needs, site conditions and commercial considerations.

Conduct site surveys and assessments at existing and prospective client premises to identify requirements and potential applications.

Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved parameters to secure profitable business.

Achieve and, where possible, exceed sales targets and revenue objectives established by the Head of Sales.

Manage the sales pipeline effectively, prioritising opportunities according to potential value, probability of conversion and business objectives.

Monitor sales performance, customer growth and market activity to identify areas requiring attention or further development.

Desired Experience & Qualification

A minimum of 5 years’ proven sales experience , preferably in a business-to-business (B2B), technical, industrial, commercial or solution-based sales environment.

Demonstrable experience in new business development, prospecting, negotiating and closing sales.

A sound understanding of industry-specific sales processes, customer requirements and market dynamics.

Proven ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline independently and convert opportunities into revenue.

Experience engaging with business decision-makers and managing established customer relationships.
