 Duties / Responsibilities:
Managerial experience essential, as you will be overseeing the other buyers in the Department.
Identify consumer demand and ensure represent merchandise offering.
Compliance with specified schedules and timing of tasks.
Ensure compliance with various financial mandates.
Ensure compliance with due process and procedures.
Ensure excellent internal department relations in support of company objectives.
Compliance with legal and binding instructions.
Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements of Skills and Education:
Matric with Tertiary Diploma or Degree relevant to the position.
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in the retail industry.
Understanding of concepts in terms of inventory control and ordering requirements.
Advance knowledge of Microsoft programmes would be an advantage.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills together with presentation skills.
Attributes: to perform the job successfully, being able to perform each crucial functionality of all duties satisfactorily.
Excellent communication skills internally and externally with interpersonal skills being flexible and adaptable.
Ability to work under pressure and support others within team.
Ability to understand the company as well as customer requirements being creative to ensure the ability of obtaining the correct and appropriate solutions with the skill to articulate the necessary information to company standards are kept and customer needs are met.
