- A Senior Quantity Surveyor who thinks like an investor and acts like a commercial gatekeeper. This is a strategic, high-impact role for someone who thinks beyond traditional Quantity Surveyor functions — combining cost management, investment analysis, and decision-making.
Minimum requirements Advantageous
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in residential property development.
- Proven experience in large-scale residential developments 50+ units.
- Strong track record in feasibility modelling and cost planning.
- Experience across the full property development lifecycle.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel non-negotiable.
- Proficiency in Dimx, WinQS, BuildSmart and BIM tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and protect project margins.
- Confident in challenging assumptions and making go/no-go recommendations.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to
- Conduct detailed feasibility studies and financial modelling for new developments.
- Control cost planning, budgeting, and margin protection across the full project lifecycle.
- Perform due diligence and risk analysis on potential developments.
- Independently verify and challenge external QS reports and assumptions.
- Support procurement and contractor pricing strategies.
- Provide strategic input to optimise development performance and scalability.
- Work on high-volume, high-impact developments.
- Play a key role in scaling a fast-growing property investment business.
- Direct exposure to strategic decision-making and leadership.
