Salary: R320 000 – R370 000 CTC per annum (Experience‑dependent)
North of Pretoria

A leading manufacturer established 50 years ago, seeks a Senior Quality Control Inspector to strengthen its quality systems and ensure customer satisfaction through effective inspection and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and assist inspectors with shop‑floor inspections.

Perform and document Magnetic Particle Inspections (NDT) on welding.

Assess and document progress of NDT Level 1 Inspectors per AWS D1.1 Standard.

Conduct welder assessments every six months and during recruitment.

Prepare welders for external coding and ensure compliance with AWS D1.1.

Perform site inspections and repairs where required.

Monitor and report on rework, scrap, and process improvements.

Prepare items and documentation for client and third‑party inspections.

Inspect items post‑galvanizing and maintain quality control records.

Provide statistical analysis and reports on quality issues and improvements.

Requirements
Matric (Grade 12).

Strong supervisory and analytical skills.

Computer literate with solid reporting ability.

Magnetic Particle Inspection Level 2 certification with practical experience.

Welding Inspection Certification (AWS D1.1 knowledge essential).

Ability to read technical drawings and perform dimensional inspections.

Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
