- RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established Building & Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project budgets and cost reports.
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, adjudication, appointments and payment certificates.
- Price and manage variation orders and contract claims.
- Assist with forecasting, cash flow projections and commercial reporting.
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
- Ensure commercial compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 10 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project cost control, commercial management and subcontractor administration.
- Experience with valuations, variation orders, payment certificates and final accounts.
- Valid driver's licence essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
