Minimum requirements
• Relevant Engineering qualification in Electronics, RF, or Mechanical Engineering • 8+ years relevant quality and engineering experience. • Experience in project quality planning, inspections, audits, supplier quality and manufacturing quality. • Experience working within quality management systems such as ISO 9001. • Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, engineering changes and acceptance criteria. • Technical knowledge of electronics, RF, mechanical systems or engineered products. • Experience in defence, security, government or other regulated environments will be advantageous. • Strong Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel skills. • Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project quality plans, inspection plans and quality documentation.
- Provide quality guidance on drawings, specifications, test procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Represent Quality during design reviews, testing, verification and project reviews.
- Drive risk management, non-conformances, root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Production, Supply Chain, suppliers and customers.
- Lead/support internal and supplier audits, process audits and product inspections.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, engineering standards, contracts and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare quality reports, FAI documentation and improvement actions.
- Provide quality leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a key quality contact during customer, government and third-party audits when required.
