A leading engineering and construction organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – SMEIP to lead the successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects within the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys leading high-performing teams from project initiation through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of SMEIP projects.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources and project risks.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, client and SHEQ requirements.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers and overall commercial performance.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Drive projects through commissioning, completion and final handover.
Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or a related Engineering discipline.
Professional registration as a Pr.CPM SACPCMP is essential.
ECSA registration Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech. Eng. will be advantageous.
Minimum 10 years' engineering and construction experience.
At least 7 years' experience managing SMEIP projects.
Proven experience delivering Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Piping projects.
Strong commercial, contractual, planning and cost management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
Valid driver's licence.
Willingness to travel extensively and work on remote project sites.
