Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage and deliver medium-sized projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards .

The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional project teams across business and technology environments, ensuring projects remain aligned with strategic objectives and client requirements.

The role requires a strong combination of project governance, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, financial management, risk management and project controls , with the ability to provide leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from commencement through to completion , ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, quality and timelines.
• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables .
• Ensure successful implementation of Agile software projects , with a strong focus on quality and alignment to business objectives.
• Provide expert guidance to project teams regarding processes, systems, tools, methodologies and delivery standards .
• Work closely with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams across the organisation.
• Identify project stakeholders, define their roles and responsibilities and establish appropriate stakeholder engagement and communication strategies .
• Facilitate effective engagement between diverse stakeholder groups and ensure regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong professional relationships through ongoing engagement and transparent communication.
• Gather, analyse and confirm client and business requirements and ensure alignment to the agreed project scope.
• Manage project scope and ensure appropriate controls are in place to prevent uncontrolled scope changes.
• Maintain traceability of project requirements and agreed benefits throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage deviations from agreed scope, schedule or delivery expectations and escalate where required.
• Manage project delivery against agreed timelines and schedules.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, expenditure and financial controls .
• Apply appropriate governance, risk and control frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, track and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints .
• Provide accurate and regular project reporting to Programme Management and relevant stakeholders.
