Start free — we apply for you →Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in commercial and retail developments. The successful candidate will bring solid cost management expertise together with proven proficiency in WinQS and DimX.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quantity surveying functions across commercial and retail projects.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
- Manage valuations, variations, payment certificates and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams.
- Provide commercial and contractual guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure accurate and timely project reporting and cost control.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years’ experience
- Senior-level Quantity Surveying experience.
- Professional registration as a Quantity Surveyor is preferred.
- Proven commercial and/or retail project experience.
- Strong proficiency in WinQS and DimX.
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and cost management.
- Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.
- Based in or willing to work in Johannesburg.
