• Taking full engineering ownership of the Flat Wire product range • Driving reduction in Cost of Sales (COS) through practical engineering improvements • Improving manufacturing processes, productivity, and product yield • Identifying and implementing alternative raw materials and manufacturing methods • Collaborating with Design & Automation teams to enhance machinery and introduce new technologies • Working closely with Quality to ensure consistent product compliance with customer requirements • Partnering with Production to improve throughput, efficiency, and process stability • Leading capacity expansion and continuous improvement projects • Analysing production data to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions • Developing and maintaining process specifications, engineering standards, and manufacturing documentation Requirements:
- BEng Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 8 yearsâ?? experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in process engineering and continuous improvement
- Strong track record in reducing costs and improving product profitability
- Experience leading engineering projects from concept through to implementation
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and production systems
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilitiesÂ
