- BEng Chemical Engineering
- Management and leadership experience
- Extensive process engineering experience within minerals processing, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, or industrial processing environments
- Strong project management capabilities
- Professional communication and stakeholder management skills
Duties
- Lead process engineering activities across feasibility studies, detailed design, commissioning, and optimization projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of process engineers and technical specialists.
- Develop process flow diagrams, mass balances, heat balances, and process design criteria.
- Review and approve technical deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements and engineering standards.
- Oversee process simulations and operational performance assessments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase plant productivity and profitability.
- Engage directly with clients to provide technical guidance and project leadership.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.
- Participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and operational reviews.
- Support capital project execution, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best engineering practices.
