BEng or BTech (Electrical or Electronic or Power Electronics). Masters degree will be advantageous. Minimum 5-10 years working experience in power electronics design and development. Proven experience in developing DC-DC and AC-DC power conversion products from concept to production. Detail: Senior Power Converter Design Engineer Pretoria-West Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or BTech in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Power Electronics. Master's Degree in Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related field is advantageous. Experience: Minimum 5-10 years' experience in power electronics design and development. Proven experience developing DC-DC and AC-DC power conversion products from concept to production. Hands-on experience with Silicon Carbide (SiC) and/or Gallium Nitride (GaN) power devices. Demonstrated experience in control loop design, compensation, and stability analysis. Experience in renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging, industrial power supplies, or power conversion products. Experience working with high-power and high-voltage systems.
