Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design, build, and optimize top-tier business intelligence solutions and help drive their analytics strategy forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain BI Solutions: Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting tailored to complex business needs.
- Drive Strategy & Best Practices: Implement leading-practice standards, align with the overall analytics strategy, and contribute to BI roadmap planning.
- Manage Data Governance: Apply Power BI security frameworks, manage shared datasets, and promote the reuse of core models to prevent unmanaged report sprawl.
- Data Modeling: Build and implement robust, scalable data models.
- Optimize Performance: Fine-tune Power BI performance using DAX Studio, Performance Analyzer, Power Query, and M language.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work directly with business leaders to gather requirements and convert them into clear technical specifications.
- Provide Mentorship: Offer technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and set standards for BI development and deployment.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with the latest Power BI features and industry developments to continuously elevate solution quality.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, DAX, Power Query, SQL databases, and core data modeling principles.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Power BI certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, are a big plus!
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven knack for translating complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong adaptability to fast-paced environments, excellent cross-functional collaboration, and a dedication to continuous learning.
