- Assume reasonable responsibilities in the absence of Pharmacy Manager
- Participate in stock control and stock take
- Facilitate the understanding of systems and policies to all pharmacy staff
- Provide guidance and consultation regarding pharmaceutical care
- Keep abreast of current trends and practices in pharmaceutical care
- Submit annual required CPDs to SAPC
- Register as a tutor for both interns and pharmacist's assistants with SAPC
- Attend to emergency call-outs when required
- Accurate and safe dispensing to both retail and hospital patients
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of all aspects related to GPP
Requirements
- Minimum of a B. Pharm Degree
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role Senior Pharmacist
- Excellent report writing skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal/communications skills are vital
- Contribute actively to the multidisciplinary team
