Job Title: Senior Oracle Business Analyst - Supply Chain and Manufacturing Start Date: 2026-07-27 - 2026-08-26 Vacancy Type: Contractor JHB007265 Sectors: Information Technology Manufacturing Location: Gauteng , Midrand Salary: Brief: We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Business Analyst to support and enhance supply chain and manufacturing processes within a complex, enterprise-level environment. The successful candidate will continuously analyse the business and technology landscape to identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimisation and innovation. This role requires extensive Oracle E-Business Suite experience, strong business analysis capabilities and an in-depth understanding of supply chain and manufacturing operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector. Detail: Requirements A minimum of 10 years' Business Analysis, Systems Analysis or related enterprise applications experience . A BSc in Computer Science, BEng in Industrial Engineering or a relevant tertiary qualification. Equivalent extensive experience may be considered. Extensive experience implementing, supporting and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite R12 . A strong background in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing processes. Experience within a pharmaceutical, FMCG or similarly regulated manufacturing environment will be advantageous. Practical experience across the majority of the following Oracle modules and business processes: Inventory Management Warehouse Management Systems Mobile warehouse technologies, including scanners, labels and system integrations Order Management Distribution Requirements Planning Process and Discrete Manufacturing Product Lifecycle Management Product Costing Forecasting and Supply Chain Planning Experience preparing detailed business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and system documentation. Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, validation and general database queries. Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel, Power BI and SharePoint . Experience designing or supporting custom applications, integrations and process automation solutions. Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills. The ability to conduct effective training sessions and communicate technical concepts to business users. Strong planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project and support teams. Responsibilities Analyse business processes and information requirements to determine appropriate system and technology solutions. Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, challenges and improvement opportunities. Assess the effectiveness and utilisation of existing systems and identify functional or process shortcomings. Evaluate, enhance and optimise current Oracle EBS applications and supporting business processes. Translate business requirements into clear business, functional and system specifications. Plan, design and implement new IT solutions aligned with business and operational objectives. Design and implement custom applications, system integrations, workflow solutions and process automations. Support Oracle EBS R12 implementation, enhancement and production support activities. Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of business and system data. Coordinate and manage assigned projects, system enhancements and implementation activities. Develop and maintain business process, functional, system and user documentation. Conduct user acceptance testing and support the validation of system enhancements and new solutions. Deliver user training and provide ongoing guidance to promote effective system adoption. Ensure solutions provide an efficient and positive user experience. Deliver services in accordance with agreed service levels, timelines and business priorities. Ensure compliance with internal governance requirements, external audit standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
