Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, volumetric, and control surveys.
- Establish and verify control networks.
- Generate plans, cross-sections, and 3D models.
- Report excavation and stockpile volumes.
- Monitor pit progression and design compliance.
- Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and planners.
- Maintain and Onsite calibrate instruments.
- Manage survey records and digital data.
- Ensure compliance with mine standards and regulations.
- Mentor junior surveyors and provide technical support. Minimum Requirements
- COM Survey Certificate or National Diploma in Mine Surveying.
- Computer literate.
- Clean criminal record.
- Code 8 Driver's License. Experience
- 3–5 years in surface/opencast mining.
- Volumetric and compliance surveys experience.
- GPS, Total Stations, and Laser Scanner experience. Technical Skills
- Model Maker, TBC, Deswik, or similar.
- GIS & geospatial data knowledge.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in challenging environmental conditions and remote locations.

- Promote safe work practices.
- Participate in safety improvement initiatives.
