Senior .NET Developer

Introduction

Senior .NET Developer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance distributed systems and microservices using .NET 8+, C# 12+, SQL Server, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven architecture . The role requires strong expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, performance tuning, observability, caching, and production ownership , along with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor developers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using .NET 8+ and C# 12+ .

• Build and enhance distributed microservices architectures .

• Develop and maintain RESTful/gRPC APIs , including versioning and backward compatibility.

• Implement event-driven services using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.

• Work with Dapper and EF Core , selecting appropriate ORM approaches and optimizing performance.

• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, indexes, execution plans, and statistics.

• Implement Redis distributed caching and cache invalidation strategies.

• Work with Elasticsearch for indexing, search, and aggregation optimization.

• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and release processes.

• Support modern deployment approaches such as Blue-Green and Canary deployments .

• Implement logging, tracing, monitoring, and observability using OpenTelemetry .

• Drive code quality through code reviews, SOLID principles, design patterns, and refactoring .

• Lead automated testing across unit, integration, contract, and load testing .

• Perform performance profiling, debugging, and system optimization .

• Lead production incident response, post-mortems, and operational improvements.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to technical design discussions.

• Identify opportunities for modernization, refactoring, scalability, and performance improvements .

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Expert-level experience with .NET 8+ and C# 12+ .

• Strong knowledge of async/await, LINQ, reflection, and performance tuning .

• Strong hands-on experience with Dapper and/or EF Core .

• Advanced SQL Server skills, including query optimization, indexing, execution plans, and statistics.

• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and service reliability .

• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus .

• Strong REST/gRPC API development , versioning, and documentation experience.

• Advanced Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management .

• Experience with automated testing and modern software engineering practices.

• Strong understanding of SOLID, design patterns, refactoring, and clean code .

• Experience with production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization .
