Senior .NET Developer

Psybergate is an IT company that builds bespoke software solutions and provides highly skilled resources to its clients. We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer - Blazor  to join a team building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications on a 6-month contract opportunity based in Cape Town (hybrid). Duties & Responsibilities

What you will be doing

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core and Blazor .

• Develop applications using both Blazor Server and Blazor WebAssembly (WASM) .

• Build reusable, component-based user interfaces using Fluent UI or MudBlazor .

• Develop back-end services using ASP.NET Core and clean architecture principles.

• Implement Entity Framework Core , including LINQ queries, data persistence and database migrations.

• Build request pipelines using CQRS and MediatR .

• Integrate applications with Azure B2C for authentication and authorisation.

• Use Azure Blob Storage for secure file handling and transfers.

• Implement audit logging, error handling and secure coding practices.

• Contribute to Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, testing and deployments.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, product managers and other technical teams.

• Contribute to enterprise-grade software solutions and scalable architectures.

• Stay up to date with evolving technologies and development practices.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

What we are looking for

• 7+ years' overall software development experience , with at least 5+ years working with modern .NET technologies .

• Strong C# and .NET Core development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Blazor Server and Blazor WebAssembly .

• Experience building modular and reusable UI components using Fluent UI or MudBlazor .

• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core , LINQ and database migrations.

• Hands-on experience with Azure services , particularly Azure B2C, Azure Blob Storage and Azure DevOps.

• Experience with MediatR and CQRS design patterns.

• Strong understanding of secure coding, audit logging, secure file handling and error management.

• Experience working on enterprise-grade software projects .

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving technology.

• Proven experience taking on a technical leadership role .

• Experience mentoring or guiding other developers.

• Contributions to open-source or developer communities would be advantageous.
