Detail: About the Role: This is a hands-on technical position for an artisan who enjoys working on the tools and takes pride in building, repairing, servicing, and maintaining production machinery and equipment. Minimum Requirements Qualified Millwright and/or Fitter & Turner. Minimum 15 - 20 years' practical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Proven experience assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude with extensive fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Experience working with: Industrial motors Pumps Gearboxes Agitators Mixers Conveying systems Production machinery Ability to assemble and rebuild industrial reactors and process equipment. Experience in a chemical, resin, paint, coatings, process manufacturing, or related production environment will be highly advantageous. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering specifications. Essential Skills: Stainless Steel Spot Welding Stainless steel fabrication and assembly Reactor assembly and installation Mechanical fitting and turning Machinery servicing and preventative maintenance Breakdown maintenance and repairs Alignment of motors and rotating equipment Bearing, seal and coupling replacement Precision fitting and machining knowledge Hands-on problem solving and fault diagnosis Key Responsibilities: Assemble, install, maintain, and repair reactors used in resin and paint manufacturing Assemble and fit motors, pumps, gearboxes, agitators, and related equipment Perform stainless steel spot welding and fabrication work as required Conduct planned preventative maintenance on production equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns Strip, inspect, refurbish, and rebuild machinery and equipment Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently Assist with plant upgrades, modifications, and equipment installations Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and housekeeping Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and reliable Strong work ethic Able to work independently with minimal supervision Practical and solutions-driven Meticulous attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment show more...
